Kristy Placido is an accomplished educator, teacher trainer, keynote speaker, and author with over 25 years of experience teaching high school Spanish. She provides training in Acquisition-Driven Instruction and currently serves as the Managing Editor of Supplemental Product Development at Wayside Publishing. Kristy has presented at numerous national, state, and regional conferences and is a widely recognized author of readers, teacher’s guides, ancillary materials, and curricula across proficiency levels. In 2021, she was honored as the Michigan World Language Association High School Teacher of the Year. She is currently serving as Vice Chair of the CCLT ACTFL SIG.
